Tour in Ubud wonderful! The guide, a guy who knows the area perfectly, is of incredible kindness and offers really valuable advice. He shows great respect for customers and knows how to handle even the longest waits in various places. Prices are super competitive, even on Grab, and with a little extra it helps you plan your visits better. Optimize times and situations, telling you about a Bali lived since childhood, without ever being intrusive. Highly recommended!

Dewa was such an incredible driver and guide. All day he was giving us knowledge about the different places we were going, and tailoring our trip to our interests. At the start of the day he asked us which art specialty we would like to see and took us to both the Jewellery making and the wood carving, which were both incredible to see. He was wonderful at tailoring it according to how busy places like the water temple would be, or taking us to the more docile side of the Monkey Sanctuary. This helped us have a really relaxed time and overall a trip that we will remember for a long long time. Thank you to Dewa for his expertise and efforts for the day, we are so grateful.

Adik was an incredible tour guide and overall host for our Bali experiences today! First we visited local Ubud wood carving artists, learning the creation process, different woods and styles distinct to Bali. Next we visited Tegenungan Waterfall and Adik helped to guide us everywhere, always answering every question with his local charm and wit! Adik has incredible English and even helped to teach us some Indonesian phrases. The tour was dynamic, making sure traffic or queues were not too long, next we went to visit a local Celuk village silver jewelry store, again being able to learn the whole crafting process. The highlight was the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, where Adik helped explain the rules and helped us purchase some once in a lifetime couple pictures with the Balinese long tailed monkeys! The sanctuary is built into the forest by the local village and helps to support their community with education, fun and of course monkeys from all ages (babies to large male adults). A short drive to then visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces and river swing, here we had some lunch overlooking the breathtaking rice terraces built into the mountain sides. After more incredible photo opportunities on the swing we had our own personal tour through the terraces led by Adik. Being from a farming background Adik had a deep understanding of rice farming, the process, the people and helping to give context and answers to all our questions! Coming from a farm in the UK myself I found it very interesting the similarities and differences. Finally we visited Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu a Hindu Water Temple. As Adik mentioned this was a more traditional and less busy location, which we loved! Adik helped guide and teach us all about the religious meanings of everything from the colouring, offerings, statues, blessing process and even introducing us to the local Hindu monks and stone carvers within the temple. The experience was not only enlightening, however we got to have many deep and meaningful discussions with Adik, agreeing to the overall Hindu following of us (Humans) worshipping 3 elements, God, other humans and nature, something that all cultures, religions and humans should do everywhere! Thank you Adik, this was an incredible tour and your guidance, driving, photography and wisdom helped to make it an unforgettable memory! Until we meet again!
